we definitely needed this!!! THE SLUT WALK...

My blog focuses on sex trafficking but i couldn't help but post my views on the slut walk campaign!

I am proud of the fact that million girls around the world came forward to participate in this "slut walk". I want to say you all have my support and hats off to your courage!

AND , for those who dont know what i am talking about it go through the article and those who do know what i am talking about i hope you agree or else you'll have a lot of pissed women and dude you dont want that!

SLUTWALK
Wikipedia describe it as under-
The SlutWalk protest marches began on April 3, 2011 in Toronto, Canada and have since become an international movement of rallies across the world.[1] They are a protest against the belief that any aspect of a woman's appearance might explain or excuse rape.[2] The rallies began in response to remarks made by Constable Michael Sanguinetti, a Toronto Police officer, who suggested that in order not to be victimized, "women should avoid dressing like sluts."[3][4] The protest take the form of a march, by mainly young women, where some dress in ordinary clothing, and others dress provocatively; there are also speaker meetings and workshops.[5] Such protests have not been universally accepted as appropriate; for example some objectors have remarked that this approach is an example of women defining their sexuality in male terms.[6]

MY TAKE:

According to me slut walk is an "in your face" reply to the jerks who think the world revolve around them. We definitely have had enough of men blaming the rapes on us.
What MIchael Sanguinetti said , a whole lot a people , have the same opinion and i so badly want to look in their eyes and say with my middle finger in the air "F*CK OFF".
I really dont see any logic in holding us accountable for this hideous crime? how are we the one who brought it on us? how come the victims are deemed as predators and the criminals as mere slave to their lust? huh?
In a 21st century world where leaders claim we have done away with all the prejudices and advanced to a more civilized society we have been capable of empowering women , from where do ,still, these incidents seem to surface?

It saddens me that these good doers fail to see that a girl covered from head to toe have the same chances of being harassed , raped and murdered! We accept one's choice of cuisine we accept one's habit of drinking and smoking we accept the color one like we accept the music one listen we accept the person one marries ( in many cases) but why are we so adamant about changing the way we girls dress? why cant we simply accept the fact that everyone has a RIGHT to dress however they want? We dont stop the men to wear the clothes they want? but then why in the fucking hell we are termed as sluts ,prostitutes just because our dress was a wee bit shorter than what makes you comfortable?

During these past months a lot of countries cities have experienced "the slut walks", in one such demonstration a girl held a banner in her hand which read like this

"DON'T TELL US HOW TO DRESS!
TELL MEN NOT TO RAPE!!'

and i say "EXACTLY"...
